Corrections policy
This page describes how we handle content errors: how to report them, how corrections are made, and when content is withdrawn.
How to report an error
If you find a factual error, outdated information, or a source problem, email [email protected] with the link to the piece and, where possible, verifiable evidence. An editor reads every report and checks it against the original sources before anything on the page changes.
How we correct
A confirmed correction updates the original piece in place and keeps its URL; the page shows the update date, and significant corrections carry a short note in the text saying what changed and why.
Withdrawals
Serious errors that cannot be corrected lead to withdrawal: the original URL keeps a short explanation page, the body and comments come down, and the piece leaves site search and the sitemap.
