Ask Claude Code for live stock quotes or a pull of social chatter, and it stalls: it can write the analysis code, but there’s no endpoint to call. Every new data source means another vendor, another signup, another key, another invoice. AIsa (aisa.one) collapses that into one API key fronting what the site describes as 5,000+ APIs, skills and models, billed per call. We first spotted it in a September 21 video from the WeChat Channels account 每日AI.

Core Purpose

AIsa positions itself as a resource layer for agents: models, data APIs, skills and payments all behind one key and one bill. The three layers, checked on the official site on September 29:

  • Model gateway: 22 models from 8 providers (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, DeepSeek, Kimi, GLM, Qwen, Grok), median token pricing of $0.62 in / $2.36 out per million across 90 chat models.
  • Data tools: a single MCP endpoint, https://mcp.aisa.one/mcp, exposing 579 data tools; a REST API (api.aisa.one) shares the same key.
  • Billing: a median $0.012 per call across 982 live endpoints, per-endpoint prices shown up front, with hard spend limits per key.

The data tools break down by category (reachable-tool counts from the Connect page, September 29):

Category Reachable tools
SEO & AI visibility 316
Go-To-Market 164
Sales 80
Social (X, Instagram, Reddit, Pinterest, YouTube) 56
Finance 48
Web Search 30

The differentiator is the bundle: magpie is a local menubar gateway that only switches models, while AIsa is a cloud service that folds data APIs and skills into the same key; and instead of subscribing to single-purpose APIs one vendor at a time (a CAPTCHA service like CapSolver, say), you get one bill and unified spend controls in place of N vendor contracts. The companion skills are open source under the AISA-skills GitHub org — seven repos covering search research, social media, financial data, SEO and more, each with single-digit stars as of September 29.

Key Scenarios

  1. Claude Code / Codex users: one install command, and AIsa Connect wires model aliases (like claude-aisa), the MCP endpoint and skills into the tool you already use — no editor switch.
  2. Research agents: agents doing competitive, market or SEO analysis pull the numbers themselves instead of having you paste data into the context.
  3. Multi-model spend management: 22 models behind one entry point, provider failover and retries handled by the platform, with a spend limit per key.

Trying it and its limits

To start: register at console.aisa.one for a key, then run curl -fsSL https://aisa.one/install.sh | sh (with Node 20+, npx @aisa-one/connect connect works too). Authorization uses OAuth with PKCE, the key lands in ~/.aisa/key (mode 0600), and every write is logged. The installer officially supports Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, opencode, OpenClaw, Hermes, VS Code, Claude Desktop and Manus.

The honest catches: it’s pay-per-call with no free tier on the site, so set a spend limit before batch runs; the installer covers macOS/Linux only, Windows goes through WSL; and data requests route through AIsa’s cloud, so think twice before pointing it at sensitive sources. One more thing to keep straight: “5,000+ APIs” is the homepage’s combined figure for APIs, skills and models, while the MCP data tools currently number 579 — what you can actually call is whatever the console shows.
